New Hampshire, Month 3 in Pictures

Keene has an old fashioned and very affordable movie theater (for a few months more)
We had lots of clouds made for dreaming this month
The wildflowers took a dramatic turn, switching from one variety to another,
and turning the entire park into a colorful tapestry day after day
The UTV spent every evening at the entrance booth while we reminded people of the gate closing time
Keene is full of our folks like us
We carried away a LOT of fallen branches. The UTV and dump truck worked overtime
Tree after tree came down on the service road. Always on a Friday night too!

The lights in the bathroom and storage area are getting an upgrade

I’ve put a lot of time into getting the flower gardens around the restrooms back in shape
A baby snapping turtle started its trek to the water
The resident porcupines don’t have a care in the world
We hiked to a hidden lake on a perfect fall day

Giant Eastern Crane flies (Pedicia albivitta)
Three trees’ roots growing around a boulder resembled the arteries on a heart
This fungus looks like ocean coral
A juvenile Eastern Newt (Notophthalmus viridescens) in its red eft era
