Two wasp stings within two weeks caused Jeff’s oversized allergic reaction. Since we’re often hiking and in zero cell service zones, he’s now a member of Team Epi-Pen, just to be safe. The medications cocktail he’s on at the moment to bring down the swelling, fight any infection, and manage the itching is really something. It’s not how we would have chosen to celebrate the end of our 11th month living in the teardrop trailer, or two months volunteering with the Corps of Engineers, but we didn’t get a vote on the situation.

Haha It’s fairly gruesome, isn’t it? Thankfully it appears to be improving.

Awesome photos, as usual! But this batch really stood out to me. Great photography skills! And wishing speedy healing for Jeff! xoxo

Thank you, thank you! I’m enjoying this way of sharing some of the photos I’ve taken but which don’t really have much of a story to accompany them. I’ll pass on the well-wishes. It looks like his sting reaction has made the turn. It still looks frightful, but getting less so.
